The Equinox collided with a southbound 2000 Ford Super Duty truck. The impact caused a secondary collision between the truck and a 2015 Toyota Highlander, which subsequently overturned due to the force of the crash.
Both the driver of the Toyota Highlander and Clifford Oliver were transported to CarolinaEast Medical Center for treatment. Sadly, Clifford Oliver succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
